United Southern Bank proudly attended the 49th Annual Human Rights Commision Unity Breakfast at the Bruce Convention Center.

The breakfast was a heartwarming celebration of diversity, inclusion and recognition of outstanding individuals who have contributed significantly to our community.

One of the highlights of the Unity Breakfast is the recognition of individuals who have gone above and beyond for our community. We were privileged to witness the deserving recipients of these awards – The Hal & Betty Thurman Award, The Volunteer Award, The Standard Award of Excellence, and the Mayor’s Award.

This year’s event theme was Unarmed Truth and Unconditional Love, which featured a panel of local high schoolers who shared their insights on what unarmed truth and unconditional love means to them.
