United Southern Bank employees recently attended the United Way of the Pennyrile Shine Like the Stars Awards Presentation at the Bruce Convention Center.

Our HR Director, Martha Steil, was the 2024-2025 Campaign Chair for the Shine Like the Stars Campaign. She set a goal of raising $700,000 to benefit 18 regional nonprofits. She proudly announced at the awards presentation that they raised a total of $704,291.50! We are so proud of Martha and the United Way of the Pennyrile for their hard work and dedication throughout the campaign.

The United Way of the Pennyrile gives back to 18 nonprofit agencies in Christian, Todd and Trigg Counties. The partner agencies include, Aaron McNeil House, American Red Cross, Boys and Girls Club, Christian County Literacy Council, Christian County Rescue Team, Hopkinsville YMCA, and many more.
