Each quarter, we take a moment to shine the spotlight on someone truly outstanding — a team member who not only brings talent and dedication to their role but also embodies the very core of our values and mission. The Employee Spotlight is our way of recognizing those who strive at developing new skills, consistently showing up with a strong work ethic, collaborating, and making a real impact.

This quarter, we are excited to shine the Spotlight on Diana Cardenas. Diana started working at United Southern Bank in August 2019 as a part-time teller.  In 2021 she went full-time and called the Crofton branch her home while she was the Head Teller and later Customer Service Representative. Currently she is a full-time Interactive Virtual Teller. She states that she has enjoyed all the opportunities and growth with USB as well as the events she is able to attend.

Diana is a proud mom to Linneya who is 8 years old and keeps her busy with girl scouts and school activities.  Some of Diana’s hobbies include photography, being outdoors in nature, fostering health with holistic natural remedies, i.e. essential oils, herbal teas, energetically, as well as reading, painting and travelling.
