United Southern Bank was proud to be a sponsor of the Christian County Chamber of Commerce Eye Opener Breakfast: PreK2Biz – Partner’s in Possibility: Igniting Futures Together at the Silo Event Center.

We had the pleasure of hearing from keynote speaker, Dr. Kimberly Fifer, Director of Education Innovation at the Central Indiana Educational Service Center. She shared insights on the academy model of teaching that will be implemented at the new Christian County High School, including the four broad academies that will be offered when the school opens in August 2026.

Dr. Fifer also highlighted the importance of strong community partnerships in supporting education and preparing students for future success. USB is proud to support initiatives that invest in our schools, our workforce and the future of our communities.
